An Inspiring Life

1. Lifelong

• I am part of the continuum of life spanning from my grandparents to my grandchildren, and this is perhaps the only life I have. 

• Only I—no one else—can live it, and I want to do it in a meaningful way.

2. EU-wide

• As a citizen of my own country, I am also a citizen of the European Union—part of a culturally rich union comprising 27 countries and 450 million people. 

• However, the accelerating development of interaction technology—alongside the need for technological sovereignty and its economic implications—reveals a missing element: the need to digitally upskill us, the 450 million citizens, from baby to senior, to meet the goals of the "Digital Decade 2030".

3. Dream-high

• "Personal EU" offers a practical and concrete solution that has been missing from the Union's goal of placing people at the heart of its activities.

• It fosters cross-border and all-encompassing community among EU citizens.

• It creates a digital civic right—via the "TeamFinder" service—and provides every EU citizen with a platform for Union-wide (up to 27-country) peer teams that support daily life, hobbies, startup activities, entrepreneurship...

• It establishes the spirit and framework for extensive international interaction between administrative units and citizen-led, organically growing communities (organizations and organi(c)zations); Everyone is working towards shared goals regarding safety and well-being.

• This would be the pinnacle of European social sovereignty: a system that transforms the continent’s diversity and cooperation into its greatest competitive advantage.

The Five Stages of Life:

A Path of Values ​​and Skills from the "personal EU" perspective

1. The Years of Wonder (0–2 years): A Safe Start

• Core: Security and attachment.

• Identity: A child’s first, protected, EU-wide digital identity. Securely links health data to the parents' digital wallet. No commercialization—only protection.

2. The Years of gaining insights (3–12 years): Playful Collaboration

• Core: Curiosity and the idea that "the world is a friend."

• Personal EU experience: “A team in action.” Playful online connections—starting as early as preschool—with other children across the EU (e.g., a shared storytime or exploring first names together with a French kindergarten). 

• Through childhood EU identification recognizes your age and adjusts your boundaries accordingly for your own well-being.

3. The Years of Learning (13–25 years): A Sparring Partner

• Core: Gaining independence and critical thinking. Your personal EU "skills backpack": collect micro-credentials, language exchange experiences, and volunteer work experience. TeamFinder helps you find partner classes, summer jobs, and mentors across borders.

4. Years of application and renewal (ages 26–65): Continuous growth

• Core: Flexibility and the ability to "unlearn" the old.

• Personal EU: Changes in working life offer opportunities. TeamFinder—and through it, your own "Union team" with its PPPP connections—helps you apply your skills to new environments and channel time spent on social media into an innovation network of 450 million people that broadens your life.

5. Years of wisdom and passing the baton (ages 66+): Community anchor

• Core: Sharing experiences and bridging generations.

• Personal EU: Seniors act as "mirrors of life." Digital interaction with young people (e.g., "mentor a grandparent" activities) keeps the mind sharp and ensures the transmission of values.

Guided by our shared will, life on the "Planet of the European Union" is not a bureaucratic system but an "inspiring resource"—something that lightens the burden of daily life, deepens our expertise, and connects me and my team to the European community of 450 million people spanning all age groups, from infants to the elderly.

In every country, there is someone who most resembles me or complements me best. These people should be part of my Personal EU team.
